My brother is a big fan of hunting. Not knowing much about this sport I asked him if I can join him on one of his hunting trips that he talks about so much. The day I asked him if I can go he looked at me all surprised and invited me to come along the next time he go to Colorado.
A week before leaving for our fist hunting trip together, my brother advised me on what should I bring with me; apparently the ghillie suits are the most important, right after the guns and comfy shoes. As I was new to hunting, my brother advised me what kind of hunting gear I was going to purchase. As I could use one of his guns, the biggest deal was the ghillie suit. We ordered one ghillie suit from a online store, the one that allows you to blend in in the woods and be hard to find not only by the animal but also by your own friend. My choice was the classic dark green/brown ghillie suit, which suited me perfectly.
Believe or not but as silly as you can feel the first time while wearing your ghillie, it is quite comfortable.
Out first together hunting trip was a blast. Unfortunately we did not catch any animal but we spent the whole day running around the woods in our ghillies laughing and having a great time.
I am looking forward to our next hunting trip, as it is not only great exercise, but also so much fun.
